At our March book club meeting, 12 of us attended (two men and 10 women). We shared our various perspectives on the characters and themes in the book, The Orphan Train, and, in turn, related them to our own experiences growing up and to modern day life. Topics included love, belonging, connection, and loss – and, of course, children.
And our thanks to Linda for the yummy treats!
