Calling All Kids! Get ready to rock! Our Library Director, Robin Close, has created a Summer Ready Program that is uniquely designed for our community that is rich with rocks. The program, called Libraries Rock, runs for four days – from June 18 to June 21.
The Schedule:
- Monday June 18th: Rock hound trip to Sagehen Resevoir
- Tuesday June 19th: Classify found rocks and create collections.
- Wednesday June 20th: Trip to Keith Bundy’s house to watch a demonstration of cutting rocks. Breaking open geodes at the Library.
- Thursday June 21st: Trip to the Idaho Mining and Geology Museum in Boise
