Welcome fellow gardeners! The library is now offering a “Seed Sharing Center”. Our “aim is to make free seeds available in an effort to to preserve disappearing heirloom and open-pollinated plant varieties, both edible and ornamental.”
If you have such seed and would like to share it with our community of growers, bring them to the library in a labeled, paper envelope. If you would like to try the seeds that were given to share, find the seed you are interested in and take some using the plastic bags provided. For more details, stop by the library or give us a call!
