Summer Reading Program was a BLAST!

July 26, 2019 By Ola Lib Staff

This year’s summer reading program for our library was a blast!

On day one, the Nelson family researched information about our moon and presented it to the group.

On day two, we learned about the planets in our solar system.

On day three, the Webb family researched information about comets and presented it to the group.

On day four, we took a trip to Caldwell to the Whittenberger Planetarium and afterwards enjoyed a picnic lunch at Memorial Park.

On day five, we learned about the constellations, how to use a planisphere, and which websites are best for finding constellations.

Mrs. Close is already looking forward to next year’s summer reading program. Reading and learning together is so much fun!
