The Ola District Library is a public library that serves community residents, including the students of the Ola Elementary School. The library is located behind the school and has a collection of 9,623 volumes. This one-room building is the former Jack Knife School. It was moved to its current location in the early 1950s.
The Library Director and Board of Trustees are all volunteers. Robin Close is the Director, and she works closely with the board of trustees. The board creates policy, sets and oversees an operating budget, runs fundraising events, and keeps the community informed about the library.
